OhNoItBroke ("we", "us") is a video publishing tool that helps creators schedule and post short videos to TikTok. This policy explains what data we access through the TikTok API and how we use it.
To use the service, you sign in with your TikTok account through TikTok's official OAuth flow. We never see or store your TikTok password.
When you connect your TikTok account, we request the following scopes and store the associated data on our servers so the service can function:
Profile information (user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name (nickname), and avatar URL. Used to identify your account inside the app and display your profile.
Account statistics (user.info.stats): your public follower count. Used solely to display follower count in your personal dashboard so you can track audience growth alongside your scheduled posts. This number is fetched on demand and is not shared with any third party.
Video list and metrics (video.list): titles, descriptions, view, like, comment and share counts of videos posted through the service. Used to display analytics in your dashboard.
Video publishing (video.publish, video.upload): used to upload and publish the videos you submit through the app to your TikTok account.
We also store OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by TikTok so the service can publish on your behalf and refresh sessions without requiring repeated logins.
We do not use cookies for advertising, do not run third-party analytics, and do not collect any data from visitors who are not signed in beyond standard server logs.
Data collected from TikTok is used exclusively to operate the service: authenticating you, publishing videos you submit, and showing you statistics about your own account and videos. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
Your TikTok profile data, tokens, and uploaded videos are stored on our servers for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Videos published through the service appear on TikTok. TikTok's own privacy policy applies to content and interactions on their platform.
We may update this policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
